Julie was born in Fargo, North Dakota and spent the majority of her youth moving around the nation. Being a military brat she's lived in several other states from east to west coast, including Hawaii. She moved back to the Midwest to Bettendorf, Iowa during her freshman year of high school and then graduated from Mankato State in Minnesota.
Since then Julie has made Des Moines her permanent home with her husband of 25 years and four children. Julie loves this community so much and says the best part about her job is working with clients and making new friends. She even has a nickname in the business as a "Frealtor" - Friends and realtor. Once you meet Julie, you are friends forever.

We worked with Julie to sell my mother-in-law's condo and my own mom's condo both within the last few months when they were no longer able to live on their own. BOTH of them sold on the first day! One of the things I like about Julie (and there are many) is that she aggressively markets the properties using all of her contacts. I think that makes a huge difference in that many people are aware of the property coming onto the market and are then ready to look at it right away so it doesn't get stale. She also gives good advice on what we needed to do to get the properties ready so they would show in the best light possible. She also stays on top of the whole process and keeps it moving. She had to work with my sister who lives out of state due to her being the power of attorney and Julie did an awesome job introducing herself and working well with her long distance. We used Julie to sell our former home and purchase our current home and she also guided our son and his wife as they purchased their first home all within the last year and a half.
